Middle-Age Adults Outnumber Younger Adults On The Web

The perception that the Internet is for youths and young adults is simply not true.

Middle-age adults make up the majority of Web users in the U.S. – even if a lower percentage of them go online. (See the chart below from eMarketer.)

And they have different online habits. Older users are more practical while younger ones turn more readily to entertainment.
