Vator.tv will announce Tuesday it is adding Twitter-like micro-blogging to its site, expanding the ability users have to offer updates on their business.

Site showing 3 million videos a month, says Bambi Francisco
But the San Francisco startup that helps other startups promote themselves, also said it is thinking of raising new money next year on top of the approximately $1.8 million it previously gathered from about a dozen angels investors.
“We probably will be looking for something sometime next year,” said co-founder and CEO Bambi Francisco in an interview.
Francisco said Vator.tv has grown substantially in the past few months. The site is showing 3 million videos a month, up from 500,000 in May. It now has more than 5,000 startups on its site, compared with 150 when it launched in June 2007.
The micro-blogging feature, called Company Updates, has been in alpha testing with a small number of startups. On Tuesday it will go into beta testing, also with a small number of users.
