It’s past 11PM in Las Vegas: the last of the Consumer Electronics Show’s media reception, Showstoppers, is over and I’m heading to the taxi line to get back to my hotel.
While walking through the hotel Wynn’s luxurious casino, I’ve passed by Terry Semel and Sue Decker. The first is the former CEO of Yahoo, while the latter is hoping to be the next one.
Their faces were somber.
Does this mean that finally the Yahoo board decided to pass Decker for the job, in favour of a more senior executive – like Carol Bartz, the chairman of Autodesk – instead of the former investment banker?
Or perhaps Decker was looking for some advices and confort from her former boss
