Over 50 companies, mainly startups, were exhibiting "cool products" at this year's CPX in Stanford

Innovation is alive and well in Silicon Valley.

And there were plenty of cool startups and products at this year’s CPX (Cool Product eXpo) in Stanford; and believe it or not, not all were high-tech.

Actually, I found lots of them to be quite the opposite like Klutz‘ educational books, Dante Beatrix‘ environmental bags and t-shirts, Blackbird‘s carbon fiber guitar, Magnogrip‘s magnetic work gears, Aerobie‘s espresso machine or Think Gum‘s brain boosting chewing gum!

But because we’re in Silicon Valley, lots of the cool products were of course super high-tech like VisiblEnergy‘s smart power strip, Anybots’ robots or 23andMe’s DNA test.

All in all, it was a very interesting and fun event, and over the next couple days we’ll post videos of the products we liked there.
