Emo Labs‘ invisible stereo speaker is a clear membrane (glass, plastic or carbon fiber) that fits on a TV screen and is “micro-flexed” by a piezo actuator to produce stereo sound which feels like it comes directly from the display panel.
The East-coast startup plans to announce TVs that include their technology early next year, and is looking to bring Edge Motion to smaller screens like all-in-one PCs and laptops.
